A bold new mark for this Zambian Bank, the shapes in the 'Z' icon work together with openness, honesty and optimism.

 

NEXIM BANK

CLIENT: Nigerian Export-Import Bank

As a facilitator of diversified trade in Nigeria, reducing the country's dependance on oil, Nexim Bank performs an honourable role. The 'N' icon incorporates the opposing movements of incoming and outgoing goods, with the bank acting as a trade catalyst.

 

ABSA CURRIE CUP

An entirely new logo for this pillar of South African rugby, the Currie Cup. The intention was to appeal to existing fans whilst attracting a new, younger generation of South African rugby supporter.

Pyramids sit nestled within the pizza slice crown of this Egyptian fast food chain. There is a ‘feast of fun’ to be had in the down-to-earth, quirky, family environment.

A much-loved family resort on the pristine Wild Coast of South Africa, the Wild Coast Sun wanted to give their existing seahorse a face-lift. The new mark and typography echoes the flow of the sea, bright colours of the flora and sense of fun that accompanies a stay at the resort.

A trail running shoe tread forms a distinctive mark for this popular Adventure Trail Running race.

 

DURASET

A South African based company, Duraset operate both under the ground, and on the surface. With their main concern being holding rocks in place, this icon is firmly anchored in place by two diagonal rock bolts, and speaks precisely and simply, of what they do.

Proposed mark for this Cairo-based Management Holding Company. The company grew originally from the local textile industry; as such the 'G' in the mark references Egyptian gemetric patterning and cotton weave. (Unused).

This company within the AVENG Group loved the leopard in their orginal logo and asked for it to stay. Our new leopard is simpler and showing it in profile makes it less agressive as it passes purposefully by.

Inspired by the carved geometric patterns on the wooden doors of this buslting Moroccan restaurant.

CLIENT: Moolmans Mining

Identity design for an open-cast mining contractor. Literally ‘Moolmans in the hole’, the icon takes its cues from the terraced steps that wind down into the ground, as the mine deepens. Featured in ‘The Big Book of Logos 5’ published by David Carson.

Much fun was had creating letters using balsamic vinegar in olive oil for this Mediterranean restaurant. The letters were subsequently photographed and traced to form the final logo.
